Talk about entertaining
The key to a great bay kitchen is involvement, which means space

The kitchen space faces outward to the bay, because the chef deserves the best view. Surrounded on two sides by bar seating, the curved outer wall and counter space makes for a fun short-order breakfast. However, we often put the teenagers to work, one at every bar seat, chopping vegetables, making wontons, and joining in the cooking fun at lunch and in the evenings.
With plenty of floor space (20' ft x 12' ft overall), one person can work at the stove, another can flip pancakes on the griddle, another can be digging through the fridge, another can load the dishwasher, and at night, even the bar tender has their own dedicated space or two, when the blender is running. The key is divide and conquer.
The kitchen has a full size vertical door fridge, TWO below counter ovens, a below counter icemaker, dishwasher, a bar sink, and tons of maple cabinets. Just outside of the kitchen, there's an apartment fridge to supplement the endless sodas, beers, and water that fly off the shelf.
(Since one of the ovens and the icemaker is on the fritz, there's an allowance of $2,500 to replace, so you can pick out your own. )
